Holy Family Seminary is a house of formation to the priesthood and the religious life for those candidates that, accepting the personal call from God, want to follow the steps of Saint Joseph Manyanet, by consecrating themselves to the Religious Congregation of the Sons of the Holy Family , Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

The Sons of the Holy Family were founded by Saint Joseph Manyanet in 1864, with the mission to honor, imitate and propagate the example of the Holy Family of Nazareth and the Christian formation of families, especially through the catholic education of children and youth and through priestly ministry.

Today the Holy Family Institute is present in several European countries, in North and South America and in Africa as well.

On the day of his canonization, Pope John Paul II said of Saint Joseph Manyanet to all the catholic world: "He placed his heart in the Holy Family. The "Gospel of the family", lived by Jesus of Nazareth together with Mary and Joseph, was the motor behind Fr Manyanet's pastoral charity and the inspiration of his teaching. Furthermore, he worked so that the Holy Family would be known, venerated and imitated within families. This is his heritage and with his words, in his Catalonian language, I say to you today, the religious founded by him, to the fathers and mothers of families and to the alumni and ex-alumni of his centres: "Make of your homes a Nazareth, of your families a Holy Family". May St Joseph Manyanet intercede for you!"
